Workflow to Manage Design Development Approval of Artworks Embroidery for Promotional Items
This is a B2B application which provides a workflow for the art approval process. This starts with the artist creating an art and sending it out for approvals and making revisions on the artwork based on customer feedback. Once approved, the art is published and available to all users. A major feature is that Sales representatives across the world can search for an art based on keywords as well as other art related attributes. Art Designs are stored on Microsoft Azure storage allowing the business to scale up easily.

Application for a Medical Staffing Company
A top medical staffing agency needed an online system to manage the reporting and approval process for their health care providers. The staff is assigned to medical facilities all over the US. Employees enter their hours on their phones and get electronic approval by the hospital supervisor and submit this to the agency. The system also allows for data being sent by email or fax. The data is synchronized for all employees for a week to finalize the weekly remuneration to staff. The weekly data is easily exported into their accounting application.
The system sends periodic reminders to staff about missing work details via a voice call and SMS. The two way SMS communication between the user and the administrator is integrated into the online tool.

FileMaker application for a textile company
Our client is a textile manufacturing, dyeing, knitting unit and part of a large conglomerate. The factory runs three shifts and 358 days in the year with one week of downtime. Legacy FileMaker 5.5 application developed several years ago had acquired a critical role in the manufacturing process. Their initial plan was to migrate the FileMaker workflow management and Formulations Management System from FileMaker with its 1500+ files and hundreds of users to their robust SAP system. For several reasons, it could not be migrated.
In the end, the client approached MetaSys to plan and implement the upgrade from FileMaker version 5.5 to version 17. MetaSys looked into the business processes involved, and all the dependencies in bridging the huge technical gap at hardware, software and process levels. An integrated project plan was developed and implemented. The technology upgrade makes it possible to implement long-awaited enhancements. The client also had mandated various IT Security Policy requirements. After the upgrade, Integration with Active Directory and the mandated audit logging requirements were implemented.
The upgrade and enhancement project was too large for the In-House IT department. MetaSys provided high-quality technical expertise and the bandwidth to enable them to implement the upgrade. MetaSys continues to supplement the In- House team for the enhancements. One of the processes being followed was leading to an explosion in the number of files. MetaSys worked with the IT team to understand the issue and redesigned the solution. We consolidated the files which resulted in fewer maintenance efforts.
Both the Management and the IT department now view MetaSys as a partner for their FileMaker projects.

River Cruise Booking Application
Our client is a river cruise company based in Myanmar. We were tasked with developing an online reservation system for their business. The architecture consists of an FM server and clients hosted on a hosting site in the UK; Citrix clients at the client’s office in Myanmar (through which they access the FileMaker client), and a web server that hosts the website for reservations in the US. The hosting architecture (FM client & server accessed over Citrix) was chosen since the client was looking to minimize both his IT footprint as well as the cost of FileMaker licenses.
We implemented the backend FM database, the FM clients that contain the desktop reservation, as well as the PHP code for the web front end. This system is currently in production.Since the initial build, several enhancements have been made namely: Integrating separate files for each season into one application, Ability to book cruise segments and Pre and Post Cruise Add-on Tours all managed within the same application. The system manages agents and their commissions.

Retail Cigar & Watch Store
Our client is in International Trade of Cigar and High-end Luxury Watches. MetaSys developed an Inventory management application initially in FileMaker 12. The core functionalities involved managing supplier orders, customer orders, stock in, stock out, consignment and document management. Reporting functionalities included Current stock, Purchase/Sales report, Margin report, Commission report etc. The original configuration included FM clients and servers all hosted on the client’s premises. We migrated the FM server to a hosted site in the UK since the client wanted to reduce his IT footprint to the minimum.
A recent requirement was to develop a native iOS application to extend his reach via mobile for both his internal staff as well as clients. The native iOS app is linked to the FileMaker Database with Web services using CWP. These applications involve complex implementations like sending multiple attachments from various sources like Gallery, Dropbox, Google Drive etc. The iOS application sends offers to large number of their clients with multiple pdf attachments.

The client has specialized teams to handle services such as courier and logistics, international mail processing, document and package express. The custom FileMaker Application manages all their workflows. The solution was developed in version 5 and upgraded over time. The FileMaker application continues to effectively serve them. Our client manufactures clothing and equipment on a different continent and supplies to local organisations in the UK. An in-house FileMaker application had been developed to manage their operations. Crop Health Data Analytics
An Agri-tech company collects hyper-spectral images of crops using drones and airplanes. Technology is used to translate this data to information and products that allows subscribers to manage vast crop acreage in real-time.
A web-based interactive dashboard provides actionable data to the crop growers on crop health, disease, water index of farms.
MetaSys worked on features like Hassle-free plotting of Geo-Spatial Data with user’s notes, revamping the Notes function and developing custom functions with Mapbox as well as other navigational features. While enhancing these features, MetaSys also resolved Usability Issues on the Dashboard.

FM Quizilla
FM Quizilla, is an app to assist FileMaker Developers preparing for the FileMaker Certification Exam. The questions in the FileMaker Certification Exam are confidential and MetaSys does not have access to the Exam questions. MetaSys has followed the question patterns to give a feel of the actual exam questions, in FM Quizilla. The module test allows you to practice questions for a specific module that you choose. The practice test in FM Quizilla simulates an actual exam and generates a set of questions, each time covering all the modules. When you finish the test you receive your score. You can take the test any number of times, each time with a random selection of test questions. This helps to hone your FileMaker knowledge for the Certification Exam.
The App FM Quizilla was developed using React Native for both the platforms iOS App Store and Android Google Play Store.

International Logistics and Transportation company
A Logistics company offering customized transportation wanted a mobile application for Android and iOS. The app helps clients track and manage their orders and payments on their mobile phone. MetaSys Software developed the app for both Android and iOS platforms using React Native.
The client uses a FileMaker application to manage their business operations. The mobile Application was tied to the very same back end, using Web APIs written in PHP and FileMaker.

Machine Data Acquisition on a Mobile phone
Our client provides imaging systems and technology that enables computed tomography, digital mammography, and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as automated threat detection for aviation security across the globe.
The Client’s service engineers often visit sites and in some cases needed to consult with the R& D department. The need was for a simple automated way, for the service engineer to gather data from the machines from different sites and send it to the Laboratory. They also wanted data to be collected on a regular visit to determine the wellness of the equipment by monitoring key statistics. MetaSys developed an App that connects to the Amplifier (BLE device) attached in the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) machine using a Bluetooth Connection. The mobile app gathers various key statistics from the BLE onto the mobile Phone. The service engineer can review the data and then send via email and save it on the server for the R&D Department to analyze. The web app generates different reports to analyze faults and errors in the MRI machine.

Web application for Managing an Indoor Sky Diving Operation
The web application was built for an indoor skydiving provider.
Users register/login to the site and book their desired date and time slots for their skydiving experience. The reservation module uses the calendar tool to indicate available slots. The application generates an invoice and sends the user a notification by email. They can also buy merchandise via an online catalog and shopping cart. Payment gateway integration is also incorporated into the application. The application has a user portal, where registered users can view their reservations, packages, profile and purchases. The admin module allows for the creation of Master data.

Web Application for an Institution Promoting Creative & Critical Thinking
This web application developed using PHP 5, Code Igniter framework and MYSQL allows students across various countries to participate in the Program organized by the Institute. The application assists students in managing the entire workflow for users involved in the business of stimulating and developing their critical and creative thinking skills.
The application provides ‘User Management’ which allows managing various modules based on the user role. Affiliates manage schools as well as students in their area. They also manage registrations, components, evaluations and score sheets of students. Coaches register for the program and guide the students under them for the practice problems. Students appear for different programs/topics, defined by the Affiliate. They are provided with an e-booklet which has objective as well as subjective questions. The editor allows for descriptive answers. After submitting the Booklet, the Evaluators evaluate the students based on various criteria and score them. The score sheet is then provided to students for viewing. During practice sessions, students can chat with their coaches.
